How to make amazing cinnamon honey butter

This Cinnamon Honey Butter recipe was inspired by Texas Roadhouse.I don’t know if you have a Texas Roadhouse restaurant near you or not, but they serve these warm, dense, full of yeasty goodness dinner rolls with the most amazing Honey Butter.

I haven’t yet tried to make their rolls, but I have tried to make their honey butter. The first time I made the honey butter was simply with a combination of butter and honey that I whipped until it was fluffy. But, something was missing.

So, the next time I tried to make honey butter, I added some cinnamon and again whipped the honey, butter, and cinnamon until it was nice and fluffy. It tasted pretty good, but it still wasn’t quite as good as the Texas Roadhouse honey butter. Then, I read a couple of other recipes that added yet another ingredient – powdered sugar.

So, once again, I blended the butter andhoney (which I purchased from our local farmers market) in my stand mixer using my whisk attachment, then added the powdered sugar and cinnamon and whiskeduntil it was well blended and fluffy.Of course, I baked some rolls and while the rolls were still hot and fresh-from-the-oven, I slathered on the creamy Cinnamon Honey Butter and wow! It was perfectly amazing and better than the Texas Roadhouse’s!

How to store cinnamon honey butter

It’s perfectly safe to store this at room temperature. Keep it in an airtight container. It will last about 2 days this way.

If you keep it in the refrigerator, it will stay fresh for about a month.

Can You Microwave It?

No, do not microwave it. If you do, the ingredients will separate and the texture will be thrown off.

If you want to soften it, just let it sit at room temperature for a bit.

What to Put it On

This is the fun part! The cinnamon honey butter can go on almost anything. If you put butter on it, you should try it with this cinnamon honey butter.

Here are some ideas:

  • Waffles
  • Homemade biscuits
  • Toast
