Right, at the end of the bike racks, you'll see some big, black gates. Stop when you reach them. As you might guess from the blue sign on the gate, this is the History Faculty. Oxford’s academic departments are scattered around the city. If you’re a medical student, you’ll be studying up the hill in Headington. I’m not going to show you all of the departments and faculties because there are so many. But it’s in buildings like these that students have their lectures and do their research. Not too shabby, are they? By the way, if you keep going straight down George Street, and over the river, you’ll come to the train station. It’s only about a ten minute walk. Ok, let's get moving again. Turn around and stand with your back to the History Faculty. That large redbrick building across the street is the Odeon cinema. When you can, cross the road and head towards the Odeon. When you reach it, turn right and then take the first left.
