Clickner passed away Thursday June 14, 2007 surrounded by friends and family after a brief illness. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on February 14, 1938. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the USMC after 20 years of dedicated service.

He graduated with honors from Western Michigan University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent his retirement years as Assistant Chief with the Circle Volunteer Fire Department where he made many close friends. Throughout his life he served die community and was a member of many organizations including the IEEE, the Old Crows, the American Legion, the Foresters, and the TROA. David was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Jacqueline A.

Clickner, brother Laverne Arnold and wife Cindy of Oxnard, CA, sister Sally Draper and husband Gary of Alamo Michigan. He will be missed greatly by his children David C. Clickner and wife RutliAnne of Newman, GA, Lee Ann Troyka and husband Vince of Columbia, SC, Nancy L. Wilson and husband Dan of Morris, IL, Richard James Clickner and wife Denise of Bastrop, TX and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He will be remembered and held in the hearts of many, especially dearest friends Elmer and Marilyn Funder-bunk, Alvin and Angela Summers, Corey Summers, and Judy West.

Melvin Goetz Melvin Goetz of Georgetown, Texas, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, June 14, 2007, at St. David's Hospital. Mel was born in 1935 to Joseph and Anna Goetz. He was raised in Russell, Kansas. Mel graduated from Emporia State University in 1960 with a degree in Accounting.

He married Jane Miller that same year. Mel and Jane lived in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, area for many years, where he was employed by the Pillsbury Corporation. Mel enjoyed a successful career in labor relations where he was highly respected for his negotiation skills. After his retirement in 1989, he and his wife relocated to Central Texas. Mel will be remembered as a lov-i ing husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Jane of Georgetown; daughter, Cori Fernandez of Santa Rosa, California; son, Jon, his wife Lori and their daughter, Sara of Round Rock; and son, Matthew, his wife Laura and their sons, Hayden and Camden of Wisconsin. Mel was preceded in death by his parents, brother Marvin, and sister Joann Walters. The family invites friends to celebrate Mel's life with them on Monday, June 18, 2007, between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., at the Gabriel's Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the caring nursing staff at St.

She was born on the Williams Ranch on the Llano River in Llano County, Texas, August 31, 1911, to James Albert Williams and Mary Margaret Loe. She was the youngest of nine children.

She had a B.B.A. and M. Ed. from The University of Texas at Austin. She was a certified teacher and counselor in the State of Texas and a Registered Parliamentarian.

She was a niember of The University of Texas at Austin's faculty team in the Research and Development Center for Teacher Education for twenty years. Earlier she served as president of the Austin branch of the American Association of University Women, the Austin Woman's Parliament, Bereans, the University Ladies Club, and the Fellowship Forum of the University Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School to the teen-age boys' class. She also served as a member of the Advisory Committee to the Travis County Juvenile Board, and was a charter and lifelong member of the Faculty Club at The University of Texas at Austin. She joined the Daughters of the Revolution and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas to simplify the research for her nieces. In 1937, she married George Hillis Newlove, a distinguished author and Professor of Accounting at the University of Texas in Austin for 39 years.

They shared almost fifty wonderful years together before his death in 1984. Within three days in February, 1940, two of her sisters died leaving eleven children. "Aunt and "Uncle G.H." became loving, caring, understanding "stand-in parents." They opened their home as well as their hearts and 3008 Washington Square, Austin, TX, became headquarters for many of them during World War II and for several weddings after its end. More than 40 nieces and nephews and their children have warm, wonderful memories of "Aunt and "Uncle G.H." On June 18, 1992, she married John Eugene Power, an award-winning Sales Representative with IBM and an active member of Grace United Methodist Church. She authored a book, The Little Light, to honor Gene.

She was also blessed with the love of Gene's exceptional family, his son Keith and his wife, Carole, in Nebraska, his daughter, Alice and her husband, Forrest Dolgener in Iowa, plus two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all who remained in close contact even after Gene's death in February, 2003. "Miss and Gene enjoyed over ten years of love and happiness. Bculah was also preceded in death by her eight siblings and their spouses, Alberta Barnett (Homer), Hiram Williams (Nona Ligon), Shirley Williams (Ellen Drace), Daisy Smith (Oliver), Mary Smith (Leonard), Bill Williams (Gertrude Ligon), Maggie "Bob" Gunn (Roy), Annie Smith (Tess), and many nieces and nephews. Beulah's love and laughter along with her strength and wisdom will be greatly missed by the many friends and relatives who knew and cherished her. Peggy Frances Lyda McK-enzie, Amy Hanmer, and Patsy Lee Gunn Spencer were blessed to live near enough to visit her often.

Sincere appreciation goes to the staff of Westminster Manor and its Health Care Center for the love and care given to her and her entire family throughout the years. A memorial service will be held in Westminster Manor's Chapel at 4100 Jackson Ave. in Austin, TX, on Sunday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in Westminster's Solarium. The date marked the end of her illness with breast cancer which she courageously fought for many years. Jerry was born the daughter of Emmet and Elva Brumbalow in Litdefield, Texas on August 16, 1943.

She graduated from Mdy High School and went on to graduate from Southwest Texas Teacher's College in San Marcos, with a B.A. in Education. In November of 1969, she married Claude Willielm and the two of them built their home together in Rockne, Texas. It was also hi 1969 that she became the resident theatre arts teacher at Bastrop High School and remained there until she retired from teaching in 1996. In addition to teaching, Jerry directed Bastrop High School's U.I.L.

One Act Play competition for 27 years. Under-her direction, Bastrop. High School won many awards at the district, regional and state levels. Through her passion for the theatre she touched the hearts of countless students and young dramatists. Jerry's battle with breast cancer began in 2000.

She always considered herself a fighter and a survivor. Her courage was captivating. She inspired many other survivors not to give up in their battle with cancer. She reached many survivors by becoming very involved with the Bastrop County Chapter of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She played a critical part in coordinating teams for the Relay.

Even when her own cancer returned after remission, she dedicated endless hours to the annual occasion. In May of 2006 she was honored as the key note speaker for the Relay and the entire event was dedicated to her. Generations of former students surprised her at the Relay by attending in her honor. In addition to her husband Claude, Jerry is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Bruce -Vin-klarek of Bastrop and her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Lora Wilhelm of Rockne. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Trevor, Hunter, Adrianna, Danielle and Ella Vinklarek of Bastrop and Katelyn Wilhelm of Rockne; brother Bill Brumbalow of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and sister Doris Parker of Mendon, Nevada.

Jerry's vivacious and electric personality will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her greatest gift to the world was her infectious laughter. Her legacy will live on in the memory of her students, colleagues, friends and family. Services will begin with a rosary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne, Texas at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 17. Thelma was born December 19, 1921 in Harris-burg, Ark and grew up in Memphis, TN. She began a professional singing career at an early age that continued well into her adult life. Thelma moved to Houston, TX in 1948 and worked for many years as Regional Sales Manager for World Book Encyclopedia.

In 1969 she and her family moved to Austin, where she worked for years in real estate, starting her own company, Tee Pee Realtors. Thelma was an avid and crafts enthusiast and was well know for her beautiful ceramic dolls. Thelma resided at the Continental in Austin for several years. Thelma is survived by her daughters: Debbie Abrams of Austin and Patricia Gutkowski of Houston. Her son: Bill Mayne of Nashville.TN.

Mrs. Gossett worked as a manager for Hilltop Trailer Park. She was a niember of the Llano First Baptist Church and past member of the Westwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Gossett was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Oscar Louis Gossett in 1987.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hawthorne of Corpus Christi; sons, Wayne Gossett of Llano, Kenneth Dean Gossett of Pearland and Dewey (D.J.) Gossett of Spicewood; three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The Deacons of Westwood Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
